GOL F L INK EVOLVE Managing director of GolfLink Evolve Esie O’Mahony talks about the company’s role in renovating Loch Lomond Golf Club Taking on a challenging renovation project I n March 2018, GolfLink Evolve started its first project. The company, although young, has much experience at the helm. The team that runs GolfLink is made up of Ian Casey, Jamie O’Reilly and myself. Having worked together for many years, we decided to take the opportunity to take on our own projects. The aim of GolfLink is to carry out work with passion and professionalism and bring our many years of experience to achieve the highest level of quality to our projects. To coin the phrase, ‘quality over quantity’ is most important to us. Following a whirlwind start, GolfLink was appointed to carry out the major renovation of Loch Lomond, working closely with David Cole, director of golf course and estates, and his team from the club. The initial undertaking was to completely renovate six holes throughout the winter period, starting in mid-October 2018 and being ready for play by the end of April 2019. 16
