The new bunkers created a more strategic and visually attractive playing experience. Forced carries into the greens were eliminated to ensure the playability for women. A reduction of the bunker area was achieved while still making the course more interesting by introducing more options for line of play. Golf Course Architecture by Caspar Creating and Refining Classics of the Game Having been brought up and lived most of my life in Denmark I have been influenced by many of the great Danish designers and architects combining functionality and aesthetics. “I bring this with me to the courses I design together with a strong passion for getting the absolute best posible solutions for my clients. My mission is to develop golf courses with a clear and unique style that enables the clubs to attract more players”. Black Water Golf Links “I am honored that I have been selected to design the first 18-hole golf course in Poznan, Poland” says Caspar. The course will bring golf to a metropolitan area of almost half a million people. A strong emphasis has been put on making facilities that will encourage new golfers to the game and include large practice facilities as well as indoor simulators. The course is inspired by the rolling landscape and will feature classical strategic bunkering as well as contoured run-off areas. Construction of the practice facilities has already started and is planned to open in the summer 2020 while the rest of the course will be constructed.
