Microsoft projects that global internet of things spending will surpass US$1 trillion in 2020 iFD Engineering Joint Venture has helped Bulgarian automotive spare parts distributor Auto Plus set up a new warehouse, which will use iFD’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based Advanced Warehouse Management solution. With the integration of the tool, Auto Plus has been able to use sophisticated logistic algorithms to control the supply chain, and warehouse and delivery processes. The solution is also available as a mobile app with barcode scanner. Employees can use handheld devices to carry out procedures which has improved overall accuracy and productivity.
