The quality of the programmes sends an important message to all Leonardo’s young people. There are many diverse ways to progress a career and an apprenticeship is one of those routes. It certainly gives an incredible grounding in the fabric of the day-to-day business. Leonardo offers a wide range of both engineering and business apprenticeships which are highly regarded for the quality of learning they offer. Entrants undertake intensive training across two, three or four years combining both academic and on-the-job learning working alongside experts. Leonardo’s award-winning graduate programme enables graduates to develop their careers and apply energy and innovation in a business that is at the forefront of technological development. Over the last decade, the company has welcomed more than 1,000 apprentices and graduates across its many sites in the Electronics UK business, and as investment and business growth continue in Basildon, the apprentices and graduates will be instrumental in that success.
