To date, SERVE projects for Palestine, Jordan and Djibouti have been launched. – The institutional infrastructure was set up, including the transfer of microfinance projects, establishment of the Economic Empowerment Operations Management Committee, delegation of authority and business processes. X Other achievements include: – Launching and implementing the Economic Empowerment Fund for Palestinian People (EEFPP), Bouchra Microfinance Institution in Senegal and SERVE Djibouti. In addition, IsDB’s Economic Empowerment Department (EED)is monitoring eight Islamic microfinance projects and four Islamic microfinance institutions – Development of a roadmap for Solutions Engineering Entrepreneurial Design, aimed at developing a conducive ecosystem for economic empowerment though knowledge generation and transfer of tools, policies, best practices, capacity building activities and the application of technology for developing the capacity of partner financial institutions – Representing IsDB in the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI), thus contributing to several policy documents and policy recommendations leading IsDB to secure a permanent seat at the G20 GPFI as an implementing partner. INVESTMENT X IsDB has already developed a rich pipeline of projects, including a portfolio of more than 20 initiatives for programmes, funds and institutions, amounting to potential investments of more than US$ 300 million, expected to mobilise an estimated US$ 2.9 billion of investments.
